Montage/SP Lessons

From Kelsey Modlich

Happy Holidays Mountain Sports Instructors!

Below is helpful information for instructors teaching Montage/Spanish Peaks private lessons. If you have taught Spanish Peaks lessons before some of this will be familiar. Montage guests will have the option to meet their instructor outside of the compass sports on snow. (PRIVATE LESSONS ONLY) We encourage meeting at the Mountain Village until the carpets are installed. Guests need to be able to ski a blue with current conditions to ski back and forth to the Mountain Village. Until then here is the schedule for guest arrival at MV by shuttle:

Please meet your students at the bottom of the stairs outside of the exchange near the Summit Hotel (IE. same place school groups meet) at 8:45 AM or 1:00 PM. We are encouraging this location so guests don't get lost.

The shuttle is a black sprinter van labeled SNOWCOUNTRY.

Things to keep in mind
Montage guests have higher expectations than average visitors. Please treat them accordingly. Be patient if they are running late. End lessons on time and offer to walk them to the stairs.

Communication is key for a smooth operation. If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas reach out to Kelsey Modlich (614.570.8771) (kelsey.modlich@bigskyresort.com) or Zoe Mavis (zoe.mavis@bigskyresort.com).

Reaching out to guests at least 24 hours prior to but not more than 72 hours is extremely important.

**SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTORS** Compass sports does not have a fleet of snowboards so please ask your guest if they have gear and lift tickets when making initial contact.

Montage is open to the public so come check out the biggest building in Montana.
