Free-Skiing and Riding
Free-skiing/riding in uniform is allowed for Level III (or equivalent) instructors and supervisors who are participating in the discipline for which they are certified.
You are expected to ski/ride with care and in a manner that is consistent with the standards of the Big Sky Mountain Sports School, using good judgement and within the guidelines of the Responsibility Code.
All other levels of certification may free-ski/ride wearing a personal jacket and uniform pants if they are still checking in for work for the day. Uniform pants may not be worn to free-ski/ride on your days off or if you have been relieved of your duties for the rest of the day.
All other certified/non-certified instructors will wear personal jackets unless participating in an approved clinic.
