Free-Skiing and Riding

  •  Free-skiing/riding in uniform is allowed for Level III (or equivalent) instructors and supervisors who are participating in the discipline for which they are certified.

  • You are expected to ski/ride with care and in a manner that is consistent with the standards of the Big Sky Mountain Sports School, using good judgement and within the guidelines of the Responsibility Code.

  • All other levels of certification may free-ski/ride wearing a personal jacket and uniform pants if they are still checking in for work for the day. Uniform pants may not be worn to free-ski/ride on your days off or if you have been relieved of your duties for the rest of the day.

  • All other certified/non-certified instructors will wear personal jackets unless participating in an approved clinic.
