 Big Sky Community Housing Trust

In July of 2020, the Big Sky Community Housing Trust became an independent nonprofit that supports Big Sky’s local economy and enhances the character of the community by improving the availability of affordable housing for local residents.

Explore their website here!

They have a variety of projects going on to support the local workforce in accessing affordable housing in the form of homeownership, long-term rentals, and house shares.

You can see available rentals here.

RiverView Apartments is a collaboration between Lone Mountain Land Company, Resort Tax, Big Sky Water & Sewer, and BSCHT to develop rental units at 1700 Lone Mountain Trail (close to Ace Hardware on the south side of the spur road).

Because BSCHT earned $6.49 million of low-income housing tax credits to build its portion of RiverView Apartments, BSCHT's occupants must meet federal income requirements to rent the units.

If you'd like to be considered as a future RiverView tenant, join the waitlist below. Occupation of the apartments will not happen before Fall of 2023.
