First Tracks Tram Guide Protocol
8-8:30am - Ski Ramcharger
8:30am - Load Swiftcurrent
On Swiftcurrent call dispatch 406-995-5880 to check if Jay Walk is green (you can travel on it)
Once Jay Walk is green ski to Tram base (if not green go down things that are off Calamity etc. Repeat until Jay Walk is green)
Powder Seeker will open between 9 and 9:10 on clear days. Powder Seeker will not open until 9:30 on route days.
Check with Summit Supervisor (call 406-995-5873 if they don’t answer call dispatch again and ask for permission for first tracks group to ride the Tram) or radio channel 1 (call for Gavin sun-wed or Max wed-sun)
Once you're on the Summit:
Lead guide will check in summit Patrol
Inform Patrol what your guests are hoping to ski
Ensure guests are prepared to alter their plan if needed (if it’s poor weather you can have guests quietly wait in Patrol shack)
Wait for the okay from Summit Supervisor before you ski/ride- or someone who is in communication with the Summit Supervisor
If you plan on Liberty make sure Shedhorn is running or plan to go to Skittles rd.
Do not interfere with or impede patrol while they are doing route
Do not leave before you get the okay for the terrain you are skiing/riding
NSSF is THE last thing they do on route
